When I saw that the T.I.E. Defender was going to be made into a LEGO, I was ecstatic. I loved flying as this vehicle in the original TIE Fighter game years back. I got this as a gift, and I started to build it soon after. It took me around 30 minutes to build. The only thing that was a little tedious was the wings, but that was to be expected. My only real complaint was that the model was designed with a rotating cockpit, which isn't something in the design of the "real" vehicle. Outside of that one design flaw, I say bravo to Lego on making this vehicle that never made a movie appearance!Get more detail about LEGO Star Wars Tie Defender (8087).
