Not all Haba toys are not made in China. There stuffed animals are made in China. Blocks and other wooden toys are not. My 10-month old son recieved this set for Christmas. He and three-year-old brother love the ball in this set. I don't know why but they do. My younger son also enjoys the little figure and likes to carry him around. He is also fastinated by the block with a bell in it. The pieces are very well made and the colors are bright.
