Lets face it: Lego toys are just wonderful. This toy is no exception, however my son couldn't play with it (at least not as an x-wing) because the method of attachment of the wings led to their falling off all the time. Once the thing is built, if you try to reattach a wing or something, you wind up knocking several other pieces off. Very frustrating. And then the wings fall off anyway. Made me think it's really more like a model which you don't play woth, you just assemble and admire. That said. my son is enjoying it in its new state (created by him) and likes the characters. As long as he's happy, so am I.
