My son wanted a Lego droideka. After google-ing the topic, I found many, many videos on youtube about how to build one. This is a very similar one to the one's I found online. We didn't have all the parts, but you can order the individual bricks from [...]. We ordered enough parts for 3 droidekas for about what this costs. Sure, it takes a while to pick through the bricks on [...], but you can make modifications and color changes.
