My daughter got it for Christmas at age 2 1/2. When she was young enough to just want to make stacks or sort the blocks, it was fine. Now that she is almost 4, it can be frustrating because there are pictures on the bag which you do not have enough blocks to make. I know she should just use her imagination, but it is also good to learn to follow a pattern or picture.
