It took me about 8 hours over the course of several days to assemble this. Unlike other models I've built, it uses a shiny gold foil to create a realistic effect. The foil was self-adhesive, which made it easy to apply, but the instructions don't actually mention that. I figured out that the backing came off only after I had glued a section on.
