Gave this toy as a gift to my grand daughter when she was only 3 months old. She has been able to play with it since six months. In her play area she was able to sit initially and drive the little cars around, make them disappear into the unit and turn on the music. A great toy. Versatile and durable. Parts are big enough that they don't get lost. Now that she is walking it is even more fun for her. She has sat on it and it did not show any stress.
